Holly Jolly Merry Mix-Up is my take on every over-the-top Christmas movie romcom.
I created this parody as part of a live murder mystery night where guests were attending a fake “Keepsake Channel” fan-fest. The video served as the in-universe premiere of the network’s latest holiday movie, right before the producer turns up dead and the mystery begins.
I came up with the concept, co-directed, and led the art direction, building a visual world that feels just familiar enough to be delightfully absurd. I also wrote all the copy (even the "other" movie titles, created the motion graphics, selected the music, and edited the whole thing together.
It’s a great example of how I can take a creative idea from concept to execution, especially when it comes to shaping tone, visuals, and story across multiple disciplines.
